Day Nine

Verse 1: Every night wake up from my dreams, lying in my bed, things not as they should be. Wishing I may, trying as I must, and seeking what I see. Feels like the world’s turned against me, laughing in my face, taunting my ever longing pain. My heart’s so sad, so alone but it can be repaired if you’d come back again.

Use to be the best, the best of friends that ever walked now I can’t seem to look at you. Because of what I said to you, I may have lost you for good. Tried to be honest and I knew you were going to get mad but heck that’s not new!
